Natasha Clayton. An artist, whose name is synonymous with kitschy fetish art, brings her collections online. From her early beginnings in her mother’s house, painting and drawing on paper-lined walls, to her break out in Athens’ art circles, here is an artist who has taken significant events in her life and molded them into a vision.

Her first piece produced was “Kali”, in 1999.

It was after her move back to her hometown of Montreal, Canada, that she experienced a Vesuvial eruption of creativity. When the volcanic ash settled, out emerged her first solo exhibition: “Those Women Your Mother Warned You About”. A subsequent solo show, “Bad Women Gone Worse” was voted the third best art show in Montreal, as voted on by Montreal Mirror readers, quite an accomplishment.

In 2005-2006 she has participated in the Detroit dirty show and in the PBS mountain lake auction where her painting went into overbid. She also did an exhibition with artist A.K, the result of this was shown at the MTL cult club `` Fouf ``in October of 2005, the show was voted one of the best of 2005 by Montreal Mirror readers.

The artist spends a good deal of time studying for her new works of art by drawing inspiration from cult movies, burlesque shows, friends, and women on the street.

She is presently working on Two exhibitions of works, one called`` Beyond the valley of the bone crushing vixens and other lovely ladies`` which will consist of portrait of 15-20 women based on the quote

``Women who behave rarely make history``.

" Nudie Cutie Plethor-a-m-a!" which was shown at the Legend" Art gallerie, in Sep 2007 was a great success, and now the artist is focusing on more shows in the U.S and Europe.

"I feel totally at one with my art, the women are different parts of my personality".
